How it actually works
Jobs come to you
When a customer submits a request matching your trade and the postcode districts you cover, you're notified by email with a direct link to that job.
Submit your offer
Give a price, a proposed date, and an optional message. One offer per job -- no need to race to respond first.
The customer picks, whenever they're ready
They compare offers and accept whichever works best for them. If yours is accepted, every other pending offer on that job is automatically declined.
Get paid, held safely until the job's done
Once your offer's accepted, the customer's payment is held by FixOne. Do the job, mark it complete, and payment releases to you once they confirm.
